The Lupine Roman or adjustable harness is a traditional non restrictive harness with an adjustable shoulder strap and an extra long sternum strap. The adjustable shoulder strap reduces strain on the neck and back, also reduces pressure to the throat area as well. This type of harness slips over the dogs head. Welded steel D- and O-rings and a heavy duty side-release clasp for easy on and off. The dynamic patterns are woven in-not printed or overlay so there is no fading. Made of a nylon webbing similar to mountain climbing harnesses, strong yet lightweight.

Machine-washing is fine. Some people use a mesh bag (to save
wear-and-tear on the inside of the tub), others just put them in with jeans and
similar sturdy clothes. The key points are warm, not hot water; mild soap, no
bleach; and air dry only - don't put them in the dryer or the nylon may get all
shriveled! For extreme situations, pre-soaking in an enzymatic cleaner like
Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution may be helpful.
All harnesses should be removed when the outing is over as they are too
accessible for chewing for dogs and may present an additional risk of
entanglement or injury for cats. We do not recommend any Lupine products be used
for tie-out.

Harness measurements are around your pet's chest.
Length
Measure from the base of the tail (where it
connects to the hindquarters) up to where the collar sits at the base
of the neck.
Chest
Measure the entire chest (all the way around) at the widest
point of your pet's chest. This is right behind the front legs.
Neck
Measure the neck (the distance around it) at the point where the collar sits.
